Nuggets get back on track

A 5 game skid was long enough. Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 25 points on 8-15 shooting. The Nuggets backed up Anthony with a balanced attack - a total of 7 Nuggets scored in double figures.

The Knicks welcomed back Allan Houston after he missed 11 games, and fans anticipated the match-up between him and Anthony. However, Houston could not match Anthony's scoring... putting in 12 points in 25 minutes of play.

With the win, the Nuggets are now 2 1/2 games ahead of Utah for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
