Nuggets lose fourth straightNuggets couldn’t repeat the effort they had against the Suns on Monday, as they followed with a 98-83 lost to the Seattle Supersonics. Their could be many excuses for this blowout, the Sonics having four days of rest, while the Nuggets with a two days rest after an emotional lost. It could also be blamed on the Nuggets playing their third straight game without their star, Carmelo Anthony and are obviously struggling without him, but all said in done it is the Nuggets fourth straight lose going into Christmas. This game it was the second quarter where the Nuggets struggled, as Seattle went on an 18-3 run in the second quarter and were up 53-38 at halftime. The Nuggets made a comeback in the third, but when the fourth started the Sonics put the game out of sight with a 10-2 run to put all Nuggets hopes out the door. The Nuggets were led again by Andre Miller, who had 20 points and seven assists and Kenyon Martin, who had 18 points and seven rebounds. The Nuggets obviously missed Anthony’s points, but Anthony couldn’t stop the Sonics 17 offensive rebounds and the 18 turnovers by the Nuggets. Hopefully the Nuggets can stop their losing streak on Sunday at home, as
they play the Dallas Mavericks. Game Summary written by: jmaness
