Issel Forgiven; Hanzlik sighting

Dan Issel met with several Hispanic leaders in Denver and made a heartfelt apology to the group that was widely accepted. As a result of this, and possibly a further public apology by Issel this week, Hispanic leaders are no longer calling for a boycott of the Nuggets, or for the firing of Issel as Nuggets Head Coach.
On a less heavy note, I ran into ex-Nuggets coach Bill Hanzlik at a local movie theatre south of Denver on Friday night. He looks happy, despite getting a raw deal in his short stint at NBA coaching, directing a Nuggets team lacking in much talent to a franchise worst record in 1997-1998. I did not have my camera with me for the photo opportunity.
