Signed:
- Voshon Lenard – returning to the Nuggets after a year with Toronto
- Francisco Elson – A 7’0 2nd round 1999 pick out of California. that has yet to play in the NBA
- Chris Marcus – an undrafted rookie 7’1 rookie from Western Kentucky
- Yuta Tabuse – a 5’6 Japanese League guard
Re-signed:
- Chris Andersen – the “birdman” will play a 3rd season with the Nuggets
