These are amazing times for the Nuggets and their fans, and I thought I would try and put some of the amazing stats associated with this “hot streak” in print so that current and future fans could look back and soak it all up.
The Nuggets have been the hottest team in the NBA since the All-Star break, without question… without debate.
This year’s incredible playoff run is their best winning stretch since joining the NBA in 1976 - 29 years ago.
Here’s a look at some of the feats and numbers during the 24-2 run under Coach George Karl:
Unless you just became a Nuggets fan last season, you have witnessed losing and felt despair when we failed to reach the playoffs or even come close to a winning record. If you’ve been a fan for 5-10 years, you’ve been thru some extremely tough, long seasons supporting this team.
Well regardless of your length of Nuggets fandom, we can all agree that this is a time to revel in our team. No one can knock us, or our team for what we have accomplished during this playoff run. Yes, the proving grounds of the playoffs still remain, but we should always be proud of these months in the season of 2004-2005 when the Nuggets rose up and beat nearly all challengers time and time again.

And don’t forget the one statistic that probably started it all — We were snubbed in the allstar game on our home court!
