Carmelo Anthony is West’s Best for the 2nd time

Congratulations again to Carmelo Anthony for being named the Western Conference Player of the Month for April 2007. Carmelo won the award for the first time in March, 2006.
Carmelo helped lead the Nuggets to a franchise record of 10-1 in April, including a 6-1 road record. He averaged 28.5 PPG, 6.5 RPG, and 3.5 APG for the month as they secured the sixth seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Carmelo joins Alex English (twice) and Fat Lever (once) as the only other Nuggets players to receive this award.
